Fayez, Safadi attend Committee on Arab and International Affairs meeting

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez headed a meeting of the Committee on Arab and International Affairs on Thursday with Foreign Affairs Minister Ayman Safadi to deal with the latest developments in the region, in the presence of  Nasser Al Lozi, the chairman of the committee, and other senate members, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During the meeting, Fayez praised the efforts of His Majesty King Abdullah in bringing peace and stability back to the region and to serving the Arab causes. In addition, Safadi praised His Majesty's efforts to initiate serious effective negotiations to settle the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
