Fayez, Chilean ambassador discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez on Monday met Chilean Ambassador to Jordan Rodrigo Espinosa and discussed advancing bilateral relations in various fields.  Fayez highlighted the “solidity” of Jordanian-Chilean relations that are based on mutual respect, calling for bolstering investment and trade partnerships and easing barriers hindering economic cooperation, the Jordan news Agency, Petra, reported. 

The diplomat lauded the Kingdom's pivotal role in realising regional security and stability, noting that His Majesty King Abdullah's efforts in this arena are widely recognised. He stressed his country's keenness to boost ties with Jordan in various fields to best serve mutual interests.
