FawazAitan appointed as Jordan ambassador to Greece

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Sunday approved the appointment of FawazAitan — who was kidnapped by an armed group in Tripoli in mid-April and freed in May — as the Kingdom’s ambassador to Greece.
The Cabinet also approved the appointment of Mohammad Lozi as Zakat Fund director.

The Council of Arab Environment Ministers on Wednesday approved a Jordanian proposal that urged Arab countries, international and regional organisations, and donor parties to provide assistance — to host countries of Syrian refugees — Jordan and Lebanon — to overcome the environmental impact of hosting large numbers of refugees.
Libyan authorities on Saturday, denied news reports that Fawaz Aitan — the kidnapped Jordanian envoy to Libya — was freed, stressing that there are no Jordanian troops in Libya to help free him.
