AMMAN — Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Saleh Kharabsheh on Saturday checked on damages at the Mafraq solar energy station, resulting from the polar air mass that affected the Kingdom over the past two days.
The project was scheduled to open this January, but the damages delayed the inauguration to a further notice, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Kharabsheh also checked on the Saudi renewable energy solutions provider Fotowatio Renewable Ventures and Empire projects that sustained minor damages, which will not affect work progress, according to Petra.
