Eid prayer to start at 6:30am on first day of feast

AMMAN — The Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Ministry announced on Saturday that the Eid Al Fitr prayer will be at 6:30am on the first day of Eid, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Eid Al Fitr is the Muslim feast marking the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.
This year, Eid starts on Friday or Saturday based on the sighting of the crescent moon of the new Hijri month of Shawwal.
