AMMAN — The Ministry of Education announced that a previous decision to cancel the licence of a private school in Amman came into effect on Tuesday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The ministry said that this decision enforces the establishing and licensing of private educational institutions by law, since the school did not comply with the terms and conditions for licensing, despite the ministry notifying them in advance.
The closed school did not file an appeal to stop the implementation of the decision, said ministry officials.
The ministry added that it facilitated students’ transfers and admissions to other public and private schools in the same area, praising their cooperation in this respect, according to Petra.
