Dughmi meets UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Abdulkarim Dughmi and UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed on Monday discussed bilateral relations between the countries and means to enhance them in all fields.

Dughmi, during the meeting that was held at the headquarters of EXPO 2020 Dubai, conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah’s greetings to the UAE leadership and people, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Dughmi also stressed that Jordan condemns any targeting of the UAE, reiterating the Kingdom’s utmost solidarity with the UAE.

Sheikh Abdullah highlighted the “deep-rooted” ties between the countries, stressing the pride of the UAE people in “Jordanians’ contribution in building his country”.

The minister also said that the “historical” ties between Amman and Abu Dhabi are stable and witness constant development, referring to the permanent coordination over various issues of mutual interest for the two countries.
