Drug trafficker detained for attempted distribution of hashish

AMMAN — The Anti-Narcotics Department on Thursday foiled a drug-trafficking attempt involving 10 kilogrammes of hashish.
The Public Security Department said the male suspect was preparing the drugs and intended to move them out of Mafraq to sell them.
The suspect was arrested while in possession of the drugs as he was heading from Mafraq to Amman.
Also on Thursday, agents arrested a man in his house after 80,000 Captagon pills were found in his possession.
