Delegation from Saudi, int’l nurse councils visit JNC

AMMAN — A delegation from the International Council of Nurses (ICN) and the Saudi Association of Midwifery visited the Jordanian Nursing Council (JNC) during the 10th International Conference of the Royal Medical Services.
The delegations were headed by ICN's CEO Howard Catton and the Saudi Association's President Roa Taweli, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Talks during the visits focused on issues in nursing, especially in light of recent epidemics. JNC Secretary-General Hani Nawafleh delivered a briefing on the council's tasks and goals, where the delegates praised Jordan's advancements in the fields of nursing, training and education.
