Culture Ministry urges scholars to join in 'Philosophy for Youth' publication series

AMMAN — The Ministry of Culture on Wednesday called on academics and scholars specialised in intellectual and philosophical topics to take part in the "Philosophy for Youth" publication series through submitting outlines on the proposed topics, according to a ministry statement.
The topics include: What is philosophy, What is knowledge, What is existence, What is logic, What is morality, What is beauty, in addition to readings in Schools of Islamic Philosophy, Schools of Ancient Philosophy, Schools of Modern Philosophy, Currents of Contemporary Western Philosophy, Topics of Contemporary Philosophy, Philosophy and Technology, Philosophy and Contemporary Problems, Philosophy and Life, as well as Philosophy and Youth.
The ministry will launch the topics in a publications series of small-seized philosophy books for young Jordanians and Arabs, aimed at developing their taste of knowledge and improve young people’s abilities in contemporary knowledge gathering and criticism.
