Three officers laid to rest with military honours

AMMAN — HRH Crown Prince Hussein on Monday attended the military funeral of Captain Ghaith Rahahleh who was killed along with two other officers during a raid on a terrorist cell in connection with the murder of Brig. Gen.   Abdulrazzaq Dalabeeh in Maan's Husseinieh region. 

Wrapped in the Jordanian flag, the late Rahahleh was laid to rest, in the presence of Director of Public Security Directorate Maj. Gen. Obaidallah Maaytah, Royal Court Chief Yousef Issawi and senior officers, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

A large number of officials from the PSD, Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and security forces attended the funeral. 

Also on Monday, Second Lieutenant Mutaz Najada was laid to rest in Madaba during a military funeral. 

Wrapped in the Jordanian flag, the late Najada was laid to rest at the Manshieyat Maeen Cemetery in the presence of senior officers, Petra, reported. 

The third officer killed in the raid, Corporal Ibrahim Shaqarin, was laid to rest on Monday in Tafileh governorate during a military funeral.  

Wrapped in the Jordanian flag, the late Shaqarin was laid to rest at the Majadel Cemetery in the presence of senior officers, Petra reported.
