Civil Defence Department chief meets with French ambassador

AMMAN — Civil Defence Department (CDD) Director Lt. Gen. Talal Kofahi on Tuesday met with the French Ambassador to Jordan David Bertolotti to discuss means of cooperation in the training field and exchange of expertise, according to a CDD statement.

Held at the civil defence training centre, the meeting included a field tour of specialised departments and modern simulations training centre. On the sidelines of the visit, the graduation of two French language training courses for CDD personnel took place. Bertolotti commended the level of the CDD cadres’ performance and potentials, stressing his country’s support to the department.
