Chinese ambassador expresses interest in Irbid investment opportunities

AMMAN — China is keen on utilising investment opportunities available in Jordan, thanks to the Kingdom’s encouraging environment and stability, Chinese Ambassador to Jordan Pan Weifang said on Saturday.
During a visit to the Irbid Chamber of Industry, the ambassador said that China is interested in stimulating commercial activity with Jordan, especially with Irbid, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Chamber President Hani Abu Hassan acquainted the diplomat with the “diverse” economic and industrial conditions in Irbid. The ambassador also met with Irbid Mayor Hussein Bani Hani over cooperation with the municipality in investment fields.
