CDD training on wildfires starts

AMMAN — Civil Defence Department (CDD) staff on Sunday opened a training course on wildfires with the participation of CDD staff from Jordan and Palestine.
The two-week programme, held in cooperation with the French government, is led by experts in the area of forest fire extinguishing.
It covers field training and ways to use aircraft to put out fires and preventing them from spreading.
