CDD puts out fire in fabric storehouse in Qweismeh

AMMAN — Civil Defence Department (CDD) personnel on Monday put out a fire in an 800-square-metre foam and fabric storehouse in the Qweismeh area.

The Public Security Directorate’s spokesperson said that the CDD personnel had managed to contain the blaze before it could spread to neighbouring sites, noting that no fatalities were reported.

He added that the CDD launched an investigation to identify the cause of the fire, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
