AMMAN — The Central Bank of Jordan's (CBJ) Cyber Incident Response Team for the financial and banking sector has received international recognition from the "TF-CSIRT" organisation, becoming the first response team in the Kingdom to receive such recognition from the organisation.
CBJ Governor Adel Sharkas, on Thursday, affirmed that this achievement is a significant step in supporting national efforts to enhance the Kingdom's cyber security capabilities and raise its ranking on the global cyber security index, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
"TF-CSIRT" is one of the most important global organisations specialising in cyber incident response, providing technical and coordination support, along with training for its members in the cyber security field. It includes several response teams from different countries, including the European Union member states.
