Cabinet to follow-up on Royal discussion paper

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Sunday discussed measures to follow up on His Majesty King Abdullah’s sixth discussion paper, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Prime Minister Hani Mulki issued directives to identify each ministry’s tasks in implementing the paper’s content to be presented to the upcoming Lower House.
In the same meeting, the Cabinet approved the formula of the general agreement to buy and sell natural gas, signed between the National Electric Power Company and the Jordanian-Egyptian FAJR Company last August, Petra reported.
The Council of Ministers also decided to appoint a fuel derivatives pricing committee to determine the price of selling natural gas to local industries on a monthly basis.
Moreover, the Cabinet approved the minutes of the first meeting of the Saudi-Jordanian Coordination Council, which was held last Wednesday.
