In the same meeting, the Cabinet approved the formula of the general agreement to buy and sell natural gas, signed between the National Electric Power Company and the Jordanian-Egyptian FAJR Company last August, Petra reported.

The Council of Ministers also decided to appoint a fuel derivatives pricing committee to determine the price of selling natural gas to local industries on a monthly basis.

Moreover, the Cabinet approved the minutes of the first meeting of the Saudi-Jordanian Coordination Council, which was held last Wednesday.
