AMMAN — The Cabinet on Wednesday approved the 2016 draft medical and health accountability law.
The law is aimed at providing a legal protection for patients in case of medical malpractice, through introducing a mechanism to study complaints against service providers, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The Council of Ministers also approved protocols and memos under the Agadir agreement with the governments of Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt.
The four countries signed the agreement in 2004 to increase commercial exchange among them on the one hand, and with the EU on the other.
