Bint Bladi Expo nets participants JD17,000 in sales

AMMAN — The volume of direct sales from the Bint Bladi Expo held between July 17 and 20 totalled JD17,000, and participants signed 854 production contracts with companies, hotels, institutions and individuals, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Sunday.
The majority of sales during the expo consisted of food and beverages, handicrafts and textiles. The expo fell under the Royal Directives to establish a productive state by providing women with a platform to showcase their products to potential donors.
The event offered women from across the Kingdom the chance to present their products at the largest exhibition of its kind free-of-charge, Petra said.
