Award launched for stories,photos on humanitarian topics

AMMAN — The Jordan Press Association (JPA), in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Jordan National Red Crescent Society (JNRCS), on Wednesday announced the launch of an award titled “Humanity captured in photos expressed in words”.

The award comes in two parts, stories and photographs, both revolving around humanitarian topics, which have been published for members of the JPA or reporters accredited by the Media Commission, from June 1 until August 31.

According to a statement made available for The Jordan Times, the last date for receiving entries is September 7. For inquires, the JPA invited those wishing to participate to call 0790111999.
