Attempt to smuggle 3m narcotic pills foiled

AMMAN — Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) personnel arrested a suspect during an attempt to smuggle large quantities of drugs outside the Kingdom, according to a Public Security Department (PSD) statement released Monday.

AND personnel tracked the suspect and stopped his vehicle where they found 3 million narcotic pills hidden and referred the case to the State Security Court prosecutor general.
