AMMAN — The Arab Renaissance for Democracy and Development (ARDD) on Wednesday signed two memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with the Khawarizmi University Technical College (KUTC) in Amman and the Theodor Schneller School (TSS) in Russeifa within the ARDD’s “Furthering Learning/Vocational Training” project.
Implemented by the ARDD, the project is supported by the Malaysian Yayasan Hasanah Foundation, a statement from the ARDD said.
Under the MoU, KUTC will train eight students in the fields of business, enterprise management and hospital management for a period of six months, after which the students will receive technical diploma certificates that qualify them for entering the labour market without having to obtain the Tawjihi (general secondary education certificate examination).
The TSS will train 10 students in the fields of hospitality and metal forging for six months on the TSS campus, followed by another six months of field training in the labour market, according to the statement.
