AMMAN — Royal Court Secretary General Yousef Issawi on Thursday inaugurated the revamping and expanding project of the Prince Hamzah Youth City in Aqaba, and checked on other Royal initiatives in the coastal city.

The facility is being renovated upon Royal directives issued by His Majesty King Abdullah during a recent meeting with Aqaba dignitaries, Issawi told the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The secretary general said the youth city will include a football stadium that will conform to FIFA’s standards, an Olympic swimming pool and gymnasiums. Public Housing Minister Sami Halaseh said the ministry will lead the technical aspects of the implementation of the Royal initiatives.
