Ajman ruler visits Emirati-Jordanian hospital in Mafraq

AMMAN — Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuami, ruler of Ajman and member of the higher council of the United Arab Emirates, on Monday visited the Emirati-Jordanian field hospital in Mafraq. Shiekh Humaid said the UAE is doing its humanitarian duty by alleviating the suffering of Syrian refugees and host communities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Hospital director Khaldun Hashimi presented a briefing on the hospital, which opened in August 2012, with a donation from Sheikh Humaid, noting that 17,000 patients visit the hospital monthly.
