Agreement signed to boost training of young Jordanians in agricultural sector

AMMAN — The National Company for Training and Employment on Monday signed a cooperation agreement in the field of training with the Ministry of Agriculture for the purpose of developing and supporting mechanisms for training workers in the agricultural sector.

The agreement was signed by Minister of Environment and Minister of Agriculture Saleh Kharabsheh and Director General of the National Company for Training and Employment Brig. Gen. Ali Dajah in the presence of Assistant Chief of the Joint Staff for Planning, Organisation and Defence Resources Brig. Ibrahim Nueimat.

The agreement was signed as part of the efforts made by the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and the Ministry of Agriculture in light of the exceptional circumstances the Kingdom is going through as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

Kharabsheh said in a statement that the ministry is working under the Royal directives to empower young people in the agricultural sector, stressing the importance of benefitting from the capabilities and expertise of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and their contributions to national development.
