Agreement signed to boost Jordan youth employability through IT training

AMMAN — The Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) and the Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (Int@j) on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the aim of working jointly to provide quality training for young Jordanians in line with the National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence. 

CPF CEO Tamam Mango, who signed the MoU, said that the IT sector “receives great attention” from the foundation, as it plays a “crucial role” in young people’s lives, noting that the new partnership is consistent with the foundation’s aims, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

Int@j Chairman of the Board of Directors Bashar Hawamdeh said that the memo is a part of the company’s endeavours to build partnerships with supporters of the entrepreneurship system, noting that Int@aj will launch more initiatives to encourage innovation and creativity among the younger generation and develop their skills to access the labour market.
