Adaileh represents Jordan in Arab League Council's 160th session

AMMAN — Jordan's permanent representative to the Arab League Amjad Adaileh participated in the Arab League Council's 160th session, representing Jordan among other permanent representatives.

The discussions, spanning over two days, will commence on Wednesday and will focus on nine key agenda items.

The comprehensive agenda covers several issues, such as the joint Arab action, a review of political developments' regarding the Palestinian issue, the revival of the Arab Peace Initiative, as well as Israel's violations in occupied Jerusalem, ongoing settlement activities, the Palestinian Intifada, prisoner issues in addition to support for refugees.

The agenda also included supporting UNRWA's budget and promoting development, supporting the Palestinian national budget, strengthening the Palestinian resilience and addressing Israel's appropriation of Arab water resources in the occupied territories and the Syrian Golan Heights. Egypt's Ambassador Mohamed Mustafa, during the opening session, handed over the chairmanship of the 160th session to Morocco's Ambassador to the Arab League, Ahmed Tazi.
