Abu Rumman calls on youth to be ambassadors of progress

AMMAN — Deputising for the Prime Minister, Minister of Culture and Youth Mohammad Abu Rumman on Saturday participated in a discussion panel on active citizenship with the Sablat Al Hassan 2019 team. Abu Rumman said that Al Hassan Youth Award is one of the most prestigious awards, recognising the contributions of young leaders.
He lauded the award's objectives and role in instilling the concept of citizenship among youth, promoting national identity and developing a spirit of loyalty and belonging.
The minister called on the Sablat team's participants to be ambassadors for the award in transferring their experience and knowledge to their peers and encouraging them to participate and volunteer as well as invest time to develop their skills and serve their communities, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
