350 citizens stranded abroad to arrive in Aqaba Sunday

AMMAN — A total of 350 citizens who requested to return to the Kingdom due to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic are scheduled to arrive in Aqaba from Egypt after Saturday midnight.
Aqaba Governor Ghassan Kayed told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that security and medical personnel will be ready to receive the citizens, who will dock in Aqaba on a ferry before being transported to the Dead Sea quarantine location.
Kayed said that buses for transporting the new arrivals from Aqaba to the Dead Sea will be sanitised and equipped under the supervision of specialised medical personnel before and after transporting the citizens.
