3-year project to boost integrity, accountability in public administration launched

AMMAN — The Economic Cooperation Organisation (ECO), an Asian political and economic intergovernmental organisation, in cooperation with the Jordan Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIACC) and EU funding, launched a three-year project to boost integrity and accountability in Jordanian public administration.
Chairman of JIACC Muhannad Hijazi expressed his appreciation of the ECO and EU for their cooperation on the project, titled "Together for a responsible and transparent administration in Jordan," which will positively affect ministries and government bodies, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the launch ceremony, Head of Cooperation at the EU Delegation to Jordan, Patrick Lambrechts, and Head of the MENA-OECD Governance Programme, Miriam Allam, stressed the project's key role in supporting the public sector and protecting public funds.
