AMMAN — Draft amendments to the mediation law have been referred to the Lower House so that they may be presented at its extraordinary session set for July 21, Justice Minister Bassam Talhouni said on Monday.

In a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Talhouni added that the draft amendments to the mediation law for civil disputes aim at establishing mediation centres across chambers of commerce to lighten the burden of courts.

The minister added that these centres would exist at every chamber of commerce across the Kingdom and appoint an individual to help resolve conflicts.
