GAM cracking down on vehicles for sale in public places
By Petra - Apr 26,2015 - Last updated at Apr 26,2015
AMMAN — Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) personnel are currently conducting a campaign to curb the spread of cars for sale parked randomly in public places, Raed Haddadin, director of the building control department at GAM, said on Sunday.
Haddadin added that parking these vehicles on the side of roads endangers public safety and ruins the cultural image of the city.
GAM issues warnings to the owners of the vehicles, he noted, urging the public not to showcase their cars for sale on the street, and sell them at motor shows and specialised places instead.
