King greets nation on Hijri New Year

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Saturday took to social media platform X to mark the New Hijri Year, congratulating the Arab and Islamic nations on the occasion, which falls on Sunday.

"Have a blessed Hijri year. We remember the noble values exemplified by the Prophet Mohammad, may peace be upon him, in spreading the great message of Islam. May it bring goodness and blessings to our country and the Arab and Islamic nations", the King said in Arabic.
