Jordan expresses solidarity with Libya, supports Arab League’s initiative for election

AMMAN — Jordan on Monday welcomed the outcomes of the meeting that the Arab League hosted on Sunday, which brought together heads of the Presidency Council, parliament and High Council of the State to support the political settlement that aims to conduct presidential and parliamentary elections in Libya.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Sufian Qudah stressed the Kingdom's solidarity with Libya and support of all Arab and international efforts that seek to realise security and stability in Libya in a way that can achieve the welfare and prosperity for Libyans, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
