Mubaidin reaffirms Jordan’s commitment to halt Israeli aggression on Gaza

AMMAN – Minister of Government Communications Muhannad Mubaidin on Tuesdayreaffirmed the Kingdom's unwavering position on the Israeli war against the Gaza Strip and rejection of any attempts to displace Palestinians. 

During the fifth meeting of the Government Communication Forum, Mubaidin highlighted His Majesty King Abdullah's recent phone call with the Dutch prime minister, emphasising the urgent need for international pressure to cease Israeli aggression on Gaza. He also underscored Jordan's opposition to any attempts to displace the Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank, the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Mubaidin also highlighted HRH Crown Prince Hussein's visit to Singapore, expressing gratitude for Singapore's support of Jordan's UN General Assembly resolution to halt the war on Gaza, in addition to the cooperation discussions between the two countries.

Mubaidin also said that the government is making significant efforts to mitigate economic impacts resulting from the war on Gaza and the Red Sea crisis, adding that, Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh instructed relevant ministries to take necessary measures to deal with potential inflationary effects.

Mubaidin also announced the launch of the Ministry of Government Communications official website as a central gateway for information to the media and the public.
