National Aid Fund allocates winter assistance to 220,000 families

AMMAN — The National Aid Fund on Wednesday said it will disburse winter assistance to all families benefitting from monthly aid and the Cash Support programmes. Minister of Social Development Wafa Bani Mustafa said that winter assistance is provided once a year to help families benefitting from financial aid programmes cope with winter and the additional expenses that it entails on the their budget, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Bani Mustafa added that the number of beneficiaries reached 220,000 families, with a cost of approximately JD4.1 million.
