Water theft cases detected in Karak

AMMAN — Water Ministry personnel on Monday detected incidents of water theft cases involving mains that provide drinking water to citizens in Al Qasr and Sultani districts in Karak. The perpetrators installed illegal fixtures to fill tankers supplying irrigation water for farms, according to a ministry statement. Ministry personnel removed the illegal fixture on the Qatraneh pipeline that illegally supplied water to a farm in the Al Qasr area, as well as three other fixtures to fill illegal water tankers. The ministry stressed that all illegal fixtures were removed.
