AMMAN — Professional associations on Sunday reiterated their support for the Palestinians.

Jordan Bar Association President Yahya Abu Abboud called on the international community to intervene and stop the Israeli aggression, urging the protection of Palestinians and the preservation of Islamic and Christian holy sites from repeated attacks by the occupying forces and settlers.

Jordan Medical Association (JMA) President Ziad Zou'bi expressed the syndicate's readiness to provide medical care to the injured in Gaza and to allocate the necessary medical resources and aid to help them, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The "Al Aqsa Flood" operation is a direct result of the continuous Israeli aggression against holy sites, said Jordan Pharmacists Association (JPhA) President Mohammad Ababneh.

The coalition of national and left-wing political parties also said that the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation is a "genuine" response to the crimes committed by the occupation forces and settlers.

President of the Jordanian Construction Contractors Association (JCCA) Ayman Al Khudari stressed that the continuation of Israeli violations, aggression and arrogance shows the Israeli government's lack of commitment to achieving peace.

Khaled Al Qudah, a member of the Jordan Press Association, said: "We were called upon to stand in solidarity with the Palestinians in their legitimate struggle to secure their rights.”
