JPA voices support for ‘Al Aqsa Flood’ operation

AMMAN — The Council of the Jordan Press Association (JPA) on Saturday voiced its support for the “Al Aqsa Flood” operation as a reaction to the ongoing Israeli violations at the Al Aqsa Mosque/Al Haram Al Sharif and the consistent attacks on unarmed Palestinians. The events in the Palestinian territories are a direct response to the heinous crimes committed by the Israeli occupation and the settlers, particularly their repeated incursions into Al Aqsa Mosque and their ongoing violations of sacred sites and human rights, the council said in a statement reported by the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The council expressed its readiness to monitor the situation in occupied Palestine and to cooperate with other trade unions to support the Palestinians in their struggle.
