NEPCO losses stand at JD5.36 billion

AMMAN — The losses of the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) has reached JD5.36 billion, according to the 2022 annual report of the company. The report said that losses exceed 75 per cent of the paid-up capital, as well as the current liabilities exceeding the current asset with an amount of JD3.5 billion. It also shows that losses before taxes in 2022 reached JD232.8 million, in comparison with 152.8 million in 2021.
