Rose City Nights festival to kick off in Petra on Thursday

AMMAN — Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority (PDTRA) Suleiman Farajat on Tuesday announced that preparations have been completed for the Rose City Nights festival which will kick off on Thursday.

Farajat said that the city is ready to receive visitors from around the world, expecting the festival to attract thousands of visitors to Petra, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The festival is an opportunity for visitors to learn about “the magic of the city at night”, especially since it will take place in the middle of its rose-coloured mountains in an integrated cultural village, which was completed in order to serve as a new tourist station for visitors to Petra, he added.

The festival is organised by the Friends of Jordan Festivals in cooperation with PDTRA and the Jordan Tourism Board.
