Saudi embassy celebrates Founding Day

AMMAN — Saudi Arabia’s embassy in Amman on Sunday held a celebration for the country’s Founding Day.
Senate President Faisal Fayez, Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs Ibrahim Jazi as well as a number of former prime ministers, political and economic figures and tribal leaders attended the ceremony, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Naif Bin Bandar Al Sudairi said during the ceremony that the celebration of the Founding Day reflects his country's keenness to commemorate the day with gratitude for those who contributed to building and developing Saudi Arabia.
This occasion coincides with the centenary of the establishment of Jordan, starting from the Kingdom’s founder King Abdullah I and up to His Majesty King Abdullah II, the diplomat said, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
