13 major dams reach 29% of total capacity after recent rainfall

AMMAN — The storage at the Kingdom's 13 major dams stood at 81,250 million cubic metres (mcm), out of a total capacity of 280.760 mcm, with a storage rate of 29 per cent, the Water Ministry said on Wednesday.
The King Talal Dam received the highest quantity of water, at 1.310 mcm, raising its reserve to 24.642 mcm. The dam has a total storage capacity of 67 mcm, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
