Cabinet appoints new heads of Petra, JRTV and Media Commission

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Tuesday appointed Fairouz Mubaideen as director general of the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Ibrahim Bawarid as director general of the Jordan Radio and Television Corporation (JRTV), and Bashir Momani as director general of the Media Commission.
The Council of Ministers, during a session chaired by Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh, also decided to form the JRTV council under the chairmanship of Minister of Government Communications Faisal Shboul, Petra reported.
The Cabinet also announced the retirements of JRTV Chairman Ghaith Tarawneh, JRTV Director General Mohammad Balqar, Petra Director General Fayeq Hijazin, and Media Commission Director General Tareq Abu Al Raghib.
