PSUT holds first conference linking student graduation projects to labour market needs

AMMAN — Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) held a conference to link university graduation projects to the problems and needs of the labour markets. The event was held by the Deanship of Admission and Registration, in the presence of representatives from a number of companies and institutions, with the aim of strengthening cooperation to bridge the gap between academia and industry, according to a PSUT statement.
The conference, which PSUT is intending to hold annually, is part of the university’s efforts to strengthen ways of linking the outputs of its students’ graduation projects to the needs of daily life with the aim of providing solutions to common problems. Speaking during the event, Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Mohammad Sababheh said that PSUT aims to disseminate knowledge that is applicable across many aspects of life, through scientific research represented in students' graduation projects at the undergraduate stage, and postgraduate theses and dissertations.
