Cabinet endorses 2022 bylaw to honour voluntary work

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Wednesday endorsed the 2022 bylaw of the Hussein Bin Abdullah Award for Voluntary Work. Under the bylaw, a new award named after HRH Crown Prince Hussein will be introduced at the Youth Ministry to honour excelling volunteers, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The award aims to enhance social responsibility among institutions and honour individuals and institutions concerned with voluntary work. The Council of Ministers also endorsed amendments to the building and zoning bylaw in Amman for 2022.
The bylaw seeks to provide daily local services within residential zones with the aim of facilitating services for residential areas through granting vocational licences to these neighbourhoods. The Cabinet also endorsed mandating reasons for the 2022 bylaw of the customs law enforcement.
