Prince Mired, Chief Islamic Justice sign MoU to rehabilitate court buildings

AMMAN — HH Prince Mired, the president of the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and Chief Islamic Justice Abdul Hafez Rabtah on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding to offer necessary financial, technical and know-how to rehabilitate several court building as models under the building code for people with disabilities.

Prince Mired stressed that the council will spare no effort to offer the necessary support to public and private institutions to move forward in preparing their infrastructures to meet the requirements of people with disabilities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Rabtah stressed that the memo is in line with the Chief Islamic Justice Department's strategic plan to enhance accessibility to justice, facilitate procedures and provide a proper environment for people with disabilities. At the end of the signing ceremony, Rabtah handed over a plaque to Prince Mired for his efforts in empowering people with disabilities.
