King posts tweet on Karameh Battle anniversary

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday took to Twitter to celebrate the Karameh Battle anniversary.

“Today is the day of high foreheads ornamented with the Arab Army banner, which is a day that our courageous soldiers won the victory in the Karameh Battle and engraved glory in the history books.

May our martyrs rest in peace and protect our armed forces as a shield for our beloved homeland,” the King tweeted in Arabic.
