Jordan takes part in Mobile World Congress 2022 in Barcelona

AMMAN — The Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Ministry had participated in the Mobile World Congress (MWC) that was recently held in Barcelona.
Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Minister Ahmad Hanandeh, during his participation in the event, said that Jordan has witnessed a “remarkable” growth over the past decades in the ICT sector, which is considered among the leading sectors in the Middle East and North Africa, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Sunday.
Hanandeh said that this development contributes to making the Kingdom "an attractive centre" for local and foreign partnerships and investments, which are known for their “innovative services” in various fields.
He also participated in the ministerial programme organised by the Groupe Speciale Mobile Association (GSMA) with the participation of 140 ministers from across the world, during which participants discussed the latest 4G and 5G technologies.
