PSD marks Veterans Day

AMMAN — The Public Security Directorate (PSD) on Tuesday celebrated Veterans Day, emphasising the sacrifices they have made in service to their country.
Director Maj. Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh met with veterans, officers and retired non-commissioned officers, giving a speech in which he stressed His Majesty King Abdullah’s appreciation of their loyalty and sacrifices, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the ceremony, Hawatmeh and former PSD directors honoured several retirees who were injured in the line of duty. Hawatmeh said the PSD continues to work with veterans to identify their needs and support them in accordance with Royal directives.
The military retirees expressed their gratitude to His Majesty King Abdullah and HRH Crown Prince Hussein for giving military retirees the utmost attention.
